Dr. Bulent Karadag was born in Kilis in 1968.
He completed medical education at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1992.
After completing his residency in pediatrics, he started working in the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 1997.
He received ERS Training Fellowship and worked at Royal Brompton Hospital, London with Prof. Andrew Bush between 1994-95 on Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD).
Dr. Karadag was awarded ERS Research Fellowship and worked at Munich University Children’s Hospital, Germany with Prof. Erika von Mutius on asthma&allergy epidemiology in2005-6.
He was the Chair of Pediatric Assembly of TTS between 2006-2010 and currently the Foreign Relations Chair at the TTS Executive Committee.
Dr Karadag has been elected as the Head of the ERS Pediatric Respiratory Epidemiology Group.
He served as the Country Representative in the ERS Task Force on PCD and national member of a current COST Project on PCD.
